Military welfare history: what is it and why should it be considered?

Military welfare is a major yet abstract sub-field of warfare studies and history, which interrogates the multitude welfare, care, medical provisions social policies that have existed at different times within political spaces relative to for benefit armed forces personnel their families or dependents. As scholarly project military history both well developed still evolving. It comprises substantive community scholars who produced robust body literature. Yet, despite all scholarship has since 1960s, more especially 1990s, remains estranged from mainstream history.
